What difference does it make if you go short vs extended nozzle injectors?
Some people say that the extended nozzle injectors work better with these engines since they are closer to oem specs. Other people say that it makes no difference at all.
Nobody so far had a full answer and there is no information online.

I got the Bosch 0280157000 (440cc) after a lot of research. They fit perfect in the M54 (E46 330CI M54B30), they are very similar to the stock ones when it comes to dimensions, the extended nozzle and the spray pattern. I got a new tune on the dyno and they worked really well.
There are also a few other choices for extended nozzle injectors that would do.
ESS recommended to me the Bosch 0280155759 (320cc) for up to 380hp, but these don't have the extended nozzle (same as the Green Giants 0280155968) as you can see in the photo above.
