Well this unit came with my car when i bought it. The guy owned an mp3 player and not an ipod. I swapped in my icelink plus, old school i know, but works great with my ipod.

This unit worked fine.

It converts the CD changer, plugs in the truck to RCA inputs, anything with RCAs can be played through this thing. ipod or mp3 player headphone to rcas, satellite, playstation, whatever your crazy self wants.

Thanks. I may take you up on the offer. I just ordered an aux input for the stereo. Should have it in a couple of days. If that doesn't work, I'll be calling on ya.

I'm deciding whether I'm going to swap the whole head unit out or not. Haven't decided yet.

Not sure if will work for you. There is definitely an issue of DSP or not, but doesn't really say anything about navigation.

I'll check the model number tonight for you. This was on 02 M3, tested on 04 325 as well, no Nav in either car though.

No, generic inputs only. not like a DICE or icelink for ipod. This has 2 rca plugs into which you can put whatever you want and play through your radio....
