Bender: Came out pretty good man. Do you have any pics from the side?
Was it worth the hassle with the carrier?

so im guessing you have a changer in the trunk and then a brain mounted probaly under the seat....does it have all the functionailty of a normal indash??? Actual parts minus the labor is it cheaper to do it like this...or to get the indash seteup with the retractable screen and dvd already in the dash???

I think this route is actually almost double what the flipout screen would cost... flipout screens run from $1400-$2400(with dvd) the retail on the stuff i have runs; screen $750, dvd changer $1100, brain $800. normall install for flipout is $200-$250. this normal install would have cost around $500.

hmmm...interesting....then i guess i should stick with my deal....2500 kenwood touchscreen and sirus satallite radio installed for 1900.... I thought that maybe the components would be cheaper...and would compensate for the install cause it is way more cleaner than the flip out installs!!! Nice work though!!!
