How close are your tips to the bumper? Is it like mine? I think it can get closer, but I don't want to melt anything. :D

If you guys/gals can take a picture or two, it would be greatly appreciated!

Oh for those who are wondering how loud it is, I took some readings with my ole' RatShack SPL meter. The meter does not pick up just the exahust tone. It picks up everything around me. There were no other specific sounds around except for my car.

10ft away = 56db
5ft away = 68db
Next to tips = 84db

sorry, I dont have the set up, but I would raise them up a little bit more. In my experience, if you are not touching, then you dont have to worry about anything melting.
btw, looks good!

I don't have the m tec bumper but I have tse2. Its louder when it's a raining day. I don't know why. But the tse 2 is loud . That's the purpose for the exhaust isn't it? Sometime I felt it's too loud and sometime I want it louder depends how I feel.lol. I can't imagine if I took the resonator out!

It rained today on the way home. I really couldn't hear the difference. Although it was raining pretty hard. All I heard were raindrops. It does sound like a monster when you first turn the car on. It's amazingly loud in the garage when you just turn the car on! :yikes: I mean really loud. It mellows out after a few mins.
