Damn I am tried of the amount of dust my brakes produces. My rims will only stay clean for one day after a car wash and it becomes gun-metal. Does Axxis dustless pad really works? How much are they?

Me, Amir, and a few other members who i cant think of right now, had some serious problems with the axxis brake pads... they warped my rotors and i had to buy new ones and new pads... it was a pain in the @$$... Just letting you know before you get yourself into something you will regret... goodluck....

Yes, Axxis Dustless pads are awesome! I've put nearly 35k miles on my first set and they are great!

no problems here with my Axxis...and yes they do help tremendously in cuttin back dust...and looking at your wheels..they must be a b!tch to clean....what do u use..a toothbrush

Nope, my rims are very easy to clean. Just spray water and everything comes off. Can you tell me how much it cost?

hi try this to it helps alot

1 get the axxis brake pads then get

wheel wax. put that on your wheels they make special wax for the wheels. put them on twice a yr. what little dirt gets on your wheels it will come right off.

if you get after maket wheels get them clear coated that makes it easy to clean to. you should talk to pete from wheelexperts
he can tell you what goes on what.

Ok, I should include my impressions of the Hawk HPS pads. First of all they're super quiet, at least as quiet as the stock pads. Second, I notice the braking is more progressive and easier to modulate. Some people find the stock braking too touchy at times and the HPS takes care of that over-sensitivity.

According to experts like [email protected] and some driving instructor friends, Hawk HPS out-performs the stock pads and they're even suitable for light duty tracking (e.g. driving schools). I haven't done any hard braking yet as I just installed them, but I can attest that the dusting is a lot less than the stock pads.

I have a friend with EBC Greenstuff and they still dust a lot. I'll be getting a set of Hawk HPS pads myself.:thumbup:

I haven't done any hard braking yet as I just installed them, but I can attest that the dusting is a lot less than the stock pads.

Um, it only has been 3 days since I washed my wheels. I'll take a picture after one week. I can tell you this much. With stock pads it's obvious that the fronts dust a lot more than the rears, and since I installed the HPS (only on the front), the front wheels are cleaner than the rear wheels. That's the best description I can give so far.
