Hi, I understand you get diffrent wheels when you order a 325i, or 330 and sports package, but what I dont understand why do some people get the other two wheels like type 73 or 96? Is it a east coast-west coast thing?

I've only seen the 96 on one 325i with sports pkge from the west coast, and then all the others have 44's 16" if they are non sport pgke, and then on the east coast I have either seen them with 17" 68 or 44's:dunno:

On 330's Ive only seen then im person on the east coast with type 68's on non and sport pgke...then Ive noticed some people out in cali have type 73's??:dunno:

Is there any sense to this? Anybody know?:thumbup:

96=2002+ 325 Sports package
68= 330 sports pack
73= 330 non-sport/xi
type 44= 325 non sport.

There was also a very similar version of the 44's in the 2001 325's.

That is, using your numbers.
Btw, I think you have your number wrong, because aren't the 44's supposed to be 17's, or the picture is wrong?

The 20 spoke wheels are not an option for the 330 SP! The wheels are intentially narrow for all-season tires.

I have never seen the "flower" style wheels on a 330.
