I just called D2, and they have the Remus exhaust in stock. (New 84mm round tips for $550) However, they quoted me $100 to get it installed. Sounds kinda expensive to me... where else can I go to get it installed cheaper?

Charles, its a easy diy or I'm sure meineke or any of those muffler shops would have more competitive pricing.

i have a supersprint on the way from rennsport. i called a local bmw tuner shop and they quoted me $100 too. YEAH RIGHT....forget that.

i have a 00 328i so it is a single pipe. what do i need to install it myself?

a tool to cut the pipe (any suggestions?)

do you need some sort of coupling pipe? or does the stock pipe slip into the supersprint pipe?

u clamps????

thanks

yeah, you can rent an exhaust pipe cutter from autozone.

the exhaust should slid over the oem piping, just make sure you measure and cut so that the pipe is long enough.

and a u clamp should come with the exhaust. if not they sell them at autozone.

When I installed my Supersprint exhaust I just used an electric saw to cut the pipes, and bolt on the new one...it slips right on the pipe.

Don't waste your money
I paid 60 for my remus and I was shocked at how easy it was
It should've taken them maybe 10 minutes. All it involves is unscrewing the old exhaust (or cut it if you have 01+)
screw the new ones on and you're done!
60 bucks...what a rip off. It'd be different if it was welded on
