Will it run torque like the AVIN unit? They sell a bluetooth obd2 https://avinusa.com/accessories/bluetooth-obd2.html that I was hoping might be possible to use with the eonon unit. Was wondering if anybody knew it was possible , also it has a video in, can it run a dash camera as well as a back up camera?
Not sure entirely on the Dash Cam as I never really looked into that, but it does run Torque just fine, I have a generic OBDII bluetooth adapter plugged in constantly, and I can load up Torque at will, connects within about 10-15 seconds, and works fine.

Why is this unit priced so mich lower than the Avant-2? Are there huge differences?
I hadn't seen that one before. Spec wise it looks about the same, but it is a US company (there have been return and quality issues) and it seems to have a few more features.

It looks like it has much better OBDC integration as well as DVR functions (for dash cams). It may also be a bit more refined, the one I got is, well, a bit ruff.

But I like to tweak with things so... Really, got a very good deal on it (less than half the A2), so as long as it doesn't die I am happy.

My main thing for wanting a new stereo is I need aux so I can listen to stuff that I stream from apps on my phone. Like voice mails and educational audios. But by the time I do the necessary retrofits to have an aux port I'm looking at about $250. For another $200 I have so much more available like the obii monitoring, nav, bluetooth and much much more. Just trying to weigh my options.

So, looked at that build and it is kinda awesome. Though it doesn't look very "stock". So I am kinda torn on it...

What year is your car? There is an easy aux hack for newer stereos!
