Hi All,

Just a quick question, what's everybody's view on bypassing the EGR valve on a 2001 330d 184hp ?
Have seen one on flea bay but not sure if it's not recommended to bypass it ?
If it's a good idea what are the benefits ?

Well, there's maybe 3 diesel owners here, including you.

Bypassing EGR would really raise *** emissions, which isn't very neighborly. For that reason, I'd keep it stock.

Good : less intake pollution, slightly more hp
Bad : emissions

I wouldn't bother unless it's causing problems for you.
