New to me 325xit 2001 is eating rear tires. Went from 1/3 life to almost bald in 3000 miles. Not good. slight vibration starts at 40 and continues at speed. Harmonic sound coming from rear of car like something out of balance. tires in rear wearing uniformily but wearing way to fast. Any suggestions? RTAB's? ??? Help me :banghead:

And, I assume the fronts are the same size as the rears. If not, that's a big no-no on XI cars.

Rear Trailing arm bushings + limiters. Get the limiters from vorshlag or rogue. Vorshlag has a package deal though for OEM M3 RTAB + Limiters. When those bushings go bad, you have changes in your toe under varying loads (acceleration/deceleration) leading to a loose rear feel and highly increased rear tire wear. Worth considering especially if you're over 100k miles.

Thanks for the responses. Alignment good, same size stock wheels. Going with new RTAB, shocks/struts and new rear shock mounts. Hoping this will solve the problem.
