[E46 SA]

Hi...My 2005 320D E90 aircon recently stopped working.Its also making a squeaking noise when starting up and shutting of .I took it to the machenic who chnaged the crankshaft pully but that didint help...I took it to an autoelectrician who said it was something got to do with the alternator not running properly.
Any help on the issue would be much appreciated.

How old is the car and air conditioning? Did they check the electrician?

For my E46, which share the many aircond design, it stopped working due to following:
1. broken pressure sensor on top of dryer unit
2. Freon pressure too low

For the squeaking noise, mine has that as well. It was coming from the blower fan. Replacement will require to remove several cover around the firewall
