Which looks better for an E46 interior leather upholstery, gray or black?

When shopping for my '02 M3 SMG Cab., I only looked at grey interior cars because that is what I wanted. A little over a month ago, a very sweet deal popped up for a car equipped the way I wanted but with BLACK interior. I couldn't pass it up and I figured I'd get used to it.

I'm used to it AND I'm glad I got the black interior. Believe me, it's hard enough keeping that clean.

It just depends on exterior color combinations...
Personally I like black on most of it...
But if on Steel Blue... I'll go for grey for sure...

yeah black...grey gets nasty and ugly after a while...it also tends to look greasy...black is a beautiful (fairly easy to clean, too) interior and it goes with all colors

I have grey and I love it. The other guys are right about keeping it clean though. You really have to stay after it. The leather itself doesn't get so bad, but the carpets. I plan on buying new floormats this spring (for the front) cuase they are getting a little brownish. However, nothing beats the grey if you keep it looking good!

PS: btw the black gets dirty too, you just don't see it compared to the gray ...... if that is the point
