Hello,

I have a problem with passenger's side mirror. It does not fold. I can tilt the mirror electrically, when I go in reverse it also tilts down (though it does not go back up when I change to first gear) and the mirror heating works. The only problem is it does not fold, so I suppose it's the folding motor. I already bought a folding mirror repair kit for e46 but after I opened mine I saw it's much different. The mirror uses a ribbon cable. Does anyone have any idea if I can replace the motor or I have to look for a new mirror?

Not much help to you ihubenov but I am also having problems with the Wing Mirrors, months ago they stopped working I.e. dipping for reverse or raising for tight parking, had it fixed at local electrician by resetting the codes and was OK for 3-4 weeks then packed up again, so then tried local Ford dealer same story, so I gave up they have not worked for months now suddenly they started to work again for one day and now back to not working, seems as if it is a bad or loose connection. Has anyone had this problem?
