Hello,
Im installing a new CV on my 330i driveshaft and for the life of me I cant get the cap to press/tap in. I've tried threading hardware through all the holes to hold it/press it while I tap in a star pattern with a hammer around the outside as well as tapping a wide flat head around the outside. I get it to appear to be in and flush for the most part but it just keeps popping off. I've tried hard/gentle methods. It wound up warping from the caveman method and luckily I have a spare. Any tips?
