my airbag light turned on after i hit a pothole and is still on what should i do to turn it off i tried taking the negative of the battery for a few minutes to see if that worked and it didnt what should i do.

same prob here...i think it was because a water bottle was jammed under my passenger seat and unplugger some of the connectors on the under side( i hope thats what it was). You need a SRS code tool. Its a special tool for resetting/reading an airbag error code. pelican parts sells it i think. Good Luck!

You'll need an airbag reset tool or someone with one to get the airbag light turned off (that is if there's no problems with the air bag system) if there is then the tool will give you a code and you can go from there.

Had the same problem with mine, reset it with a Peake airbag reset tool and its all good.

I had a 2000 323cic with the airbag light on. What it needed was a new airbag sensor in the passenger seat. The replacement was not terribly $ at the Indy shop.
