I wanted to switch up my valve covers, make them look different.

I know there should be a Rule of thumb to not talk about something without posting pics, but I could not wait, I am getting some Audio stuff done to my car and at the same time they are painting my Valve Covers/Air Filter and the Air duct thing up front in a Steelblue/marble type paint, Soon as I get this done I will post pics (will be done tomorrow), either this will be a very sweet setup, or the ugliest valve covers out. :dunno: :dunno: Tomorrow we will see. until then PRAY FOR ME..

Very unique, Jake, what process was used to get this finish? Is this something that could be DIY?

I am not sure SIM, as I had a Paint shop do it, if you wanted to get this done the DIY is the same a the normal Valve covers , BUT the paint was sprayed mixed in a clear plastic Air gun container and then sprayed on in a paint booth with a Air/Spray Gun.

The coolest part is he did it while I waited (20-30 mins MAX he put on 3 coats, and then I let them dry there over night (My car was getting audio work done also...Pics to be posted later on the audio)

Thanks alot guys.

DROPTOP I can get them done for you no problem, if you want let me know mail turn around time is only about 8 days, and since you are in NYC, the covers will get to me in about 5 days take to the shop paint them (1 day turn around W/ Drying) and shipped back to you the same day or next day, so you are looking at maybe a 2 week time frame MAX and 10 of those is Shipping days.

Tell what color combo you want, he took my color code to match the paint so if you want I can have him do the same for you, just tell me your color code and combo you want (I.E Imola red Marble, Steel gray Marble etc...)

As far as Price I don't care to make any money on the deal he charge me $50.00 I charge you $50.00 plus shipping back to you so MAX total $65.00 let me know.

AIM anytime
