i had the same problem, the hand brake was fully engaged incredibly high, so high that it would hit the arm rest. brought my car in for inspection 1 and to my surprise, the brake was adjusted w/o me asking. now, it's fully engaged just shy of halfway and is tight at just above half way. i have to pull as hard as i can to get it 1/4 of the way up and that's as far as i can get it.futurebmw330ci said:yes! PLease! How?!!! the bmw ebrakes i think are *** or at least mine is it catches sooo high, ive pulled an ebrake on turns sometimes just to **** around and instead of my tires looking up, the back of my car just goes down cuz the ebrake is applied but not enough to look the tires its ****ed up. How can i adjust it, does the dealership do it or is it possible to adjust it yourself any DYI?
