I'm thinking about getting 19's but I keep hearing that they slow the car down. I want to get SSR GT3's, and on tire rack they're listed as being light weight (27.7 lbs).

How big of a difference will these 19's make on my car?

really depends on the rims.. and 27.7 isn't exactly light even tho it's forged...

if you get 19" hm2.. have fun dragging those rims

if you get like 19" bbs rgr.. those are less than 20lbs which is lighter than ur stock 17" then u will not feel a difference, i felt my car is lighter and faster after i put on my LMs

19s will slow down the car, if you dont want to lose speed the best racing rims are 17s and sometimes 18s

i was thinking about the bbs rgr's and the hm2's are the hamanns really that heavy?

my 19"s did not significantly slow my roll. i was expecting the worst and was pleasantly surprised. if you care about performance, then forged wheels are the only way to go :thumbup:

just don't hit any potholes fast

you don't have a lot of rubber to cushion your wheels. you
can put the air in the tires a extra 3 to 5 lbs to help cushion the
wheels that helps alittle.

If you are about show..go with some heavy 19"deep lipped rims..i.e HM2

If you are about show and some go..go with a good `8"or 19" forged wheel..i.e. iforged or HRE

If you are about all go..go with an 18" BBS rs-gt or RGR
