Follow this guide to install the BMW Standard Tools software, which includes NCS Expert.

The steps are the same, except the following:

• Step #5: choose E46 instead of E39
• Step #6: choose KMB (pre-09-2001) or AKMB (03/2001+) instead of IKE
• Step #9: choose DSC instead of ASC5
