How do you disconnect fuel filter from the plastic hose? It looks like it is fused in there, I am afraid of damaging plactic hose if i pull it too hard?

I just changed mines last weekend.

Try twisting it while your pulling...it should pop right off. Also make sure you have 3 new hose clamps since the ones on the car is one time use only.

How do you guys clamp the hose between filter and the gas tank?
That piece of hose is really short. While it is connected to the filter(filter nozzle is in the plastic tube), there isnt any plastic hose area to attach the clamp. If I take the filter out then I guess I'll get fuel all over right? Is this under pressure or just gravity? I am trying to do this w/o any fuel spills
