On a 2001+ E46...
Is it possible to completely disable DSC, but keep ABS?
Pushing the DSC button seems to partially disables traction control.
Holding the DSC button down for a couple of seconds seems to completely disable traction control and turn off ABS. I would like to keep ABS.

Thanks for any help.

Press and hold in the DSC switch for 5 seconds. This disabled DSC. You can’t disable the ABS system unless you pull its 5 fuses!

That makes sense, but when I hold down the DSC button for 5 seconds, the brake light illuminates on my dash (which made me believe that ABS was being turned off). Is this normal, or do I have a brake problem? Thanks.

Let me rummage through my brain for a few minutes! I sold my E46 in the late summer if 2017!

Ok, time is up. Don’t remember but you could deactivate DSC and then on a deserted section of road slam on the brakes to see if the abs kicks in.
