Dinan! is it worth it?

hi im planning on getting some dinan parts like the 325 Performance Engine Software and the intake.... what i want to know is, have anyone with a 325ci step have any of this MOD done to the car? and does it really make a difference? and what prices should i be looking at for these MODs?

Dinan not worth it!

It doesn't seem worth it to me... All it does is raise the rev limiter and speed limiter. I think the normal price is like 500....

Also, the friggin powerchips one is like 640 and you get a whopping 5 hp for it...yet another overpriced chip. For 640, you'd be better off with a throttlebody and an intake.

PS

Have any of you guys seen this clown on ebay selling a +20hp chip? This has to be Bogus....

Pretty much the price is listed here. www.dinanbmw.com. You can save money by negotiating the labor charge.

I have a 325ci step and got stage 3 with the Dinan CAI and Throttle. You can definetly feel the difference. If you want, you can check it out sometime since I am from OC too. I can recommend you the place and let you know exactly how much I paid. BTW, you can save money with most BMW shops if you are a BMWCCA member.

I'm in OC also, and I've been planning on getting some DINAN upgrades myself...any chance we could meet up so I could see how much of a difference it really makes? :dunno:
