when i dont use the car for 2 to 3 days and its cold out 30 or less
it starts but dies right away. and then i try agin it stays runing but runs ruff for about a min or so. has anyone had this happen to them ????:banghead: :banghead:

yes, has happened to me. people laugh at me because i'll start my 37k bmw and it will die, when their 1995 saturn starts every time... but i live with it.

I've had this problem too :(

My 1991 Toyota Camry with 193,000 miles starts every time.. :( thanks bmw.

What I was told from my dealer...

The gas companies change the mixtures in their gas for winter, summer, and so on. Our cars are sensative and when u start the car up the first time it does not generate enough heat when cold to start the engine(something to do with ping). This is why the 2nd time u start ur car it should fire right up. sorry if this doesn;t make sense it's been almost a year and this is the jist of it that i recall.
