I've got a couple of deep scratches on my left rear quarter right around the wheelwell, 2 or 3 of them are all the way down to the primer. Let's not talk about how they got there ok :dunno:

Anyway.... I guess my question is: Are there any of those "color match" car waxes out there that actually work, or should I just try my luck with touch up paint and then have a bodyshop fix it in the spring?

ya, just walk up there and ask for touchup paint for paint code 317. It's like $16.

Think you mean wetsand, you colorsand before you spray clear.

The best bet is to find someone local that can do airbrush touch up. This way they can come in sand down the spot, place some bondo/filler, sand this down and then spray the area with the airbrush, then clear coat it. A little 2000 grit and some 3M swirl mark remover and should be back to looking like new. Most airbrush touch up guys charge around $50 - $100 depending on how bad and where the damage is located. Check your yellow pages for surface touch up specialist.
