For the past couple weeks my passenger side door has had the most annoying plastic-plastic rattles. I finally had time to drop off my car at the dealer yesterday and they have succesfully fixed the problem. I know many other members on this board have had this problem so i hope this information can be useful.

Here is the procedure from the complaint summary:

Complaint: R/F door rattlling when going over bumps

Correction: Roadtest vehicle, RE/RE R/F door panel and install rubber washers on to plastic secure clips. Retest Vehicle. Rattle is gone.

Description: E34 Rubber Seal Ring

Great info! I'm going to order some of those rubber seal rings and fix my rattles too.

Just got back from the dealer. They fixed it, i guess the clips are breaking or something.

Thanks Banana Bread!! I took apart my panel last night and inspected the clips, but found nothing wrong. I'll order the washer tonight. Do you know how much they would cost?

taking apart the panel: How many screws does this involve? Pretty easy job?

the clips might break AGAIN though, I had to bring mine in second time for the replacements
