Guys -

I've installed my DDEs and when you're looking at the car, the far-left ring keeps breaking. By this I mean it goes really really dim. I had an extra ring and that too went dim after working fine for a few hours. It seems that the autoleveling causes the ring to move around, breaking it in the process. I dunno, this is annoying the hell outta me.


Maybe this is an installation issue. Does anyone have a close up pic of how that ring should be positioned. I have Xenon btw.

This is a common problem with the facelift housings because there is less room for the rings to move...you will have to dremel the headlight housing to give the ring room to move...

BMWERKEN - thanks, I kinda figured it out the hard way 6 hours before you posted. In fact, I just wrote an essay on the topic here
