We had some exceptionally nice weather today so the poor thing got a way overdue bath! Followed that up with a fresh rain treatment on the windshield.
That's a nice looking wagon, color scheme works well.
Replaced both Roundels, shampooed carpet. Ordered more parts.
Replaced the DSC pressure switch. Replaced oil filter housing to block gasket. Tried to replace a CCV hose, but the Rein one I got from FCP Euro doesn't fit. Not even close, 3mm diameter off. Time to order a different manufacturer hose.
Noted trace of coolant on underside of expansion tank's cap; installed new cap (Rein). Xenons seemed dimmer (after 21 years and 134k miles). Purchased Philips D2S replacements. Still a pleasure to drive.

Got a new steering wheel to do the cruise retrofit and the centre was silver which didn't match the cube interior I have.
I had some bumper black paint left over from my trims and it came out pretty bloody close in colour. Will go to the m trim when I find one in a scrap yard somewhere.

Replaced one window regulator, fixed another. Nice to have 4 working windows. Installed the CCV hose after heating it up to soften. Waiting on pulleys so I can put this thing back together.

Replaced the right side lower control arm and sway bar end link. Not a fun time.

You should do both sides when doing suspension work, FYI.

Other side was already done. Thanks.
Finally had the slushbox in my car replaced with a rebuilt one. I think I’ll have a return on the investment within the year because of improved fuel economy…
Got other sway bar link done, PS pulley and the steering rack boot. Just need more parts to finish this car.
Bunch of stuff going on with my 330ci this and the next couple weeks. Doing a complete internal refresh.

Sound system upgraded to Dynavin D8 with bavsound speakers and rear view camera.
Left 6x9's in the rear for now, but plan to do something easy with them later.

Removed rear seats, coupe door cards, rear area side, rear shelf. Treating all the leather/leatherique now.

Removed the headliner and a,b,c pillar trim - in the process of converting everything to black.

Have sunroof repair kit on order since the headliner is already out.

Decided to replace door lock actuators (one went, other on way out) and while at it, the window regulators (they click).

Supercharging or turbo'ing the engine is next. Still need to decide on that.

Finished treating the rear seats and trim (other than the arm rests) I had pulled out the other day.

Check out the rear deck. Black, black, black. Pulled it out purple.

Funny enough LF turn signal went intermittent on way home from passing annual inspection. 😉

Filament was good but flat spot on bulb base; replaced. Bulb socket holding strong from repair 4-5 years ago with few drops of JB Weld Plastic Bonder (Product# 50139). Seems to approach permanent fuse on ABS plastic;
engine splash shield repair now holding ~10 yrs.

Xenons bulbs finally started to dim and yellow. Replaced with new Phillips D2S's. Thank you Fanatics!

Running great, sunroof open, and beautiful day. Enjoy!
