New battery bought at and installed by mechanic (coulda, shoulda dunnit myself, battery price was fair), new wipers, and new cabin filter (installed by me, yay!). I'll let you guess how gross the previous filter was; I bought the car almost a month ago. It's in great mechanical order otherwise, no oil lost, can't see any leaks so far, drives like a charm still.

Started to clean driver's side door card, the worst offender. Cleaned the driver's side door seal (it's a coupe), applied vinyl / leather protector and let it have a bit of a sheen, detailed a bit of the interior of said door. The door got frozen shut but luckily the passenger door not so much, so hopefully this does not happen again thanks to these steps... because my contortionist skills suck.

I so badly want to clean the engine bay but I will have to suffer for a bit more as winter has become harsher and I can't find a spot for now to do it proper.

You could always sneak into a parking garage of a condo building you don’t live in and use their car wash bay ; )

Did you have helpers? It's difficult to prevent bunches like that unless you've got another person to hold the fabric away from the surface as the other slowly presses it down into place.
I made a few mistakes in the process, I started from the easy side (back), I had my wife help to do the hardest part at front, but since most of the part are already glued down, there isn't much room to stretch.
If someone want to do this project and want to save money, my suggestion is to remove and clean all parts yourself (headliner board, a/b/c piller, sunroof slide panel), send them to professional shop to do trimming. I think large proportion of the quote are the time that they need to remove/clean/reinstall.

Doing a little more PM on the new to me 210k 330ci. Installed new SKF front wheel bearings.

Managed to able to re-use the 46mm nuts and dust caps, so score.

I found one of these used on ebay, 1720 - BMW Front Wheel Hub Bearing Tool . I know you can just bang them on with a socket (btdt) but this tool worked great.

While I was in there, I removed the front brake pad sensor/wire and simply jumped the connection.

We had some exceptionally nice weather today so the poor thing got a way overdue bath! Followed that up with a fresh rain treatment on the windshield.
For the schnitzers you get a pass. Now stop applying rain x to your windshield and get a set of silicone wiper inserts. Make them work. You’ll thank me later, best mod ever. Each pass of the wiper blades leaves a swath of microscopic silicone on the windshield. You’ll never need rain x again or OE wiper inserts, the silicone ones last about 5-8 years or more, not kidding.

The past few days have seen a flurry of activity on the "new to me" 325Ci:
  • I replaced the trunk lift struts, cabin air filter, engine air filter.
  • My mechanic changed oil/filter, flushed the brake fluid, replaced spark plugs, fuel filter and differential fluid.
Then, proud of getting the deferred maintenance caught up, I celebrated by driving down a country road... where a roofer's truck in front of me had to swerve hard into the ditch to miss an oncoming car. The truck lost a ladder, tool box and BOX OF NAILS! I missed the tools and ladder, but clipped a few nails on the RR tire. A couple of nails managed to get into the sidewall, so, new tire. (The guy driving the truck turned out to be an honest guy and paid for the tire.)
