* What did you do to/for your E46 today? *

Tinted the headlights, taillights, and fogs with a light smoke vinyl. I like the finished product.

Got headers installed at Eurowise in Charlotte yesterday! They did an amazing job, with the headers and 3.46 lsd the car has really woken up, throws you back in your seat around 3 grand in every gear

How the CEL looking

It came on after about 50 miles, as I knew it would. I'm getting software from Active Autowerke in a few days to take care of that light.

All within the last 3 months (sorry forgot to post on those days)

Rotate Tires
Oil Change
Diff Fluid (leaky diff)
VCG
Vanos Seals
Cleaned ICV and TB (new O-ring)
Disa Valve O-ring
CCV
New front control arm busing brackets (one snapped)
New jack pad.

As of last Thursday, the car feels great...again

P.S.
CCV sucks for first timers or amateurs (me). I'd rather swap diffs.

...even worse for those of us with M52.
I had to figure out how to how to work around the throttle cable. For the CCV,
I didn'tknow about the vacuum hose that connects to the nipple till I was in
there. Mine broke off due to old age. The electrical connector to the
throttle body takes a lot of force screw off; there ain't no push clip or squeeze
tab and its to the left where there's no room.
I think you M54 guys got it much easier...just a little :p

$500 at a local shop. They are a direct dealer of Active Autowerke. They do in house tuning so I don't need to send my ECU anywhere. It'll really tie the headers in and give me even more ponies! About 12-20 from the headers and another 20 from the re-tune!

Washed my car at the usual hour, about 8 p.m. I always drive it around the block to spin-dry the wheels, then pull 'er into the garage for the final towel-down. No water spots from direct sun, and the neighborhood is peaceful at that hour.
