Hi,
I've got a 02 convertible, and want to put coupe seats in them. Has anyone ever attempted that?

I can get a really great deal on some excellent condition coupe seats. just wondering if anyone has attempted this, and what their solution was for seat belts.

They will probably bolt in, but your car will be illlegal and the computer might also freak out because there is so much more to the convertible seats than the coupe seats. I wouldn't get into this one .... seems like asking for trouble.

what are you going to do about the seatbelt and safety mechanism built into the seat on the convertible? seems rather a big task
