I have headlight trim that I would like to install. I have read the DIY on this site but it says nothing about headlight washers. How difficult is this to do? What tools are needed other than a flathead screwdriver? Can someone post another DIY or thier experience when installing/removing headlight trim.

One way you can try is GENTLY hold the lens open without taking the washer out and try and sneak the trim out, or sneak it back in, I have read a few people doing this successfully, I have the washers and was able to sneak the headlight trim out without removing the washer. Good luck, it is a pain

Go to my site, download the DDE PDF - in there you will get information on how to remove your headlight with the washers.

To remove the headlamp washers, stick a flathead screwdriver in there and pull them out manually...once you pull them out, hold on to it because it'll retract due to the springs in there, then with a little bit of force, pull out the top part of the washer, but be careful because it'll spray all over you. Once you've done that, then you'll be able to follow the DIYs. Good luck. :thumbup:
