I have this sound like somethin comin from the engine is chokin or coughin. it happens when I start to accelerated lightly from a stop position. and it happens when I shut off the engine.

this has been happenin for a while but now its really startin to piss me off. It also happens to my friends 99 328i. Is this sh1t normal?:banghead:

Coughing sound?? hmmm try some Nyquil in the gas tank...that should work.

all aftermarket intakes make the gray farting noise when you shut off your car. But for the light acceleration fart noise other than a CAI I dunn0.
