Hi quick question.

My car seams to be running super hot when going up hills durring hot weather so i plan on doing an overhaul

I purchased an HPF fan clutch and want to replace the thermostat as well as a flush

should i get the oem thermostat or an aftermarket colder one?

Also anyone running the aftermarket coolant?

Keep factory coolant. Make sure its bleed good. And use factory coolant. Its superior to anything you can buy at autozone advanced etc.

if u have an aluminum radiator i would rather use the mercedes coolant or pentofrost NF

I use NPG waterless for a 0 pressure system

If your car has high mileage, I suggest you go through all cooling components.

Unless your going to track your car, I would suggest you stick with the OEM thermostat, aftermarket colder or even the Motorsport thermo has been known to cause the car to throw codes from time to time. Good luck.

Did just the fan clutch and both water and oil temps dropped and don't raise. Synod no matter what.

There might be a performance solution for the cooling system by dec. I'll have more info in the coming weeks
