What are the differences between coaxial and component speakers? Do components speakers sound better?

I THINK that the components have different speakers for different things so this enables it to sound clearer and also give you the ability to put more power to them. Example: HI's, Mid Range and Mid Base.

yeah component speakers have the woofer & tweeter seperate. coax have the tweeter mounted on the woofer.

generally have higher power handling, components. in our cars the tweeter cna be mounted higher, sounding much better.
