I just received my rear clear lenses yesterday and tried installing them. i purchased the rear clears off ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33716&item=2405592302

and I am convinced they are OEM, since they said they are in the auction and they have the exact coding and detail on the lenses and look identical to my amber lenses. Only difference is that it says EEC on it to indicate European made. Plus, they still cost $170.

However, there is a problem with the bulb carrier fitting in. I've read in another posting that this is frequently a problem with non-OEM taillights. So did i get ripped off? AND, can someone tell me exactly what plastic piece I have to cut off before the bulb carrier will snap into place? Thanks

Hey, I had this exact same problem. What you have to do is snap off one of the little plastic things that comes outta the back.

Here is a link to my past post for more info:

(Your clears should be OEM, I got mine from EEC).
the only way to tell if they are OEM is too look at the lense close to where the red meets the white, it will have a roundel stamped on the inside if its OEM. My guess is its Inpro. I got my rear clears on ebay for $88...

The black piece that comes off was a bit confusing for me for about 2 mins...

Good luck
