Found a set of 17x8 on offerup for cheap with ok tires but they had some pretty intense curb rash. My wife was disgusted on the ride home that I would pay for wheels more beat up than whats on the car. I got quoted over what I paid to get them fixed and one repair guy even said they were out of his league as far as fixing!

I scoured forums and youtube then I had a plan in place! I decided I was going to strip the clear and go for a mirror finish that I would polish every other wash. One wheel per day, I got it done minus sore fingers, holes in a few gloves and the cost of a few sandpaper packs!

Bet you are glad it was just the lips judging from those fingers. Ouch.
