Instead of adding hp, you could reduce the weight of the car for free, however some of the stuff wouldn't be too practical for daily driving.

no its not


there are 4 basic things your engine needs to do its job
1 air
2 fuel
3 fire
4 exhaust

if you can figure out a cheap way to increase the amount of air/fuel/fire that gets into your engine or how much exhaust gets out then you are starting to "tweak" a few more ponies out of it nitrous is definitely the best hp gains for the money but that crap is hard as hell on your engine but if you can find a way to cool your air/fuel mix (thats all nos does anyway) you can get more in the engine ram air systems are pretty cool too im new to bmws so i dont know if anybody makes a kit for it yet but its not hard to fabricate a kit for yourself
