Well, past few weeks, my SES light was on and gave me a CMPS code, so I changed both and I went out today to start the car, it took a few cranks to start it, then it started right up. If I gave it a little gas, just a little, the car shuts off. But if I give it a decent amount of gas, car stays on. Now I turned the car off, and then restarted it, then the SES light came back on. Now im really pissed. What could it be? The sensors are OE, and I herd that you have to reset the ECU in some cases? So atm I have the battery disconnected and will reconnect it in an hour or so. So if anyone has any advise, please say so. Btw my car is a 2001 325i sedan.

What were the codes? Did you use a generic tool or BMW specific (non-OBDII)? Are you running aftermarket software to optimize your SC?

Without a ton of information, it is very difficult to diagnose mystery problems online.
