I'm not sure if anyone has this happen or if anyone would notice, but everytime I lock the car, the latch that closes the gas lid doesn't lock and could be accessed at all times. Anyone has any kind of documentation on how to fix the problem? I usually wash that area every time I wash the car, and recently I noticed that it's not locking with the rest of the central locks. There is no mentioning of this particular part of the central lock in the Bentley manual or the TIS from BMW. This is my last resort. I did a search, but no success. Anyone? :dunno:

Gas cap lid should lock when you lock car with remote key, however if you lock car using button in console the gas lid stays unlocked so a full service gas attendent can fill your car for you.

When I lock using the key, everything lock just fine except the gas lid...:tsk:
