I was wondering what the new navigation systems have behind them. I am ordering a 2003 M3. I was told by my dealer that the CD or Tape is determined at the time of making the car and cannot be decided on order. If the car doesn't come with a cd behind the navigation system then I would have to get the cd changer from the dealership.

If the car doesn't come with a cd player would it be a better idea to get an alpine cd changer that can also play mp3 cds ??
