Try jumpstarting, if manual, try kick starting...try telling us more than this...like mileage, what work you've done.

Bad battery will do this, a number of sensors will do this, bad connections/corrosion, loose cable on battery, bad key...the list goes on and on.

Vacuum sound could just be the sap starting.

Do cluster test or measure voltage with multimeter.

You have to give us more or you'll get all the random guesses.

Search 'no crank' in thread titles. But, if you can push start it and not jump start it, then starter. If you can jump start it, then battery/alt or both...or corrosion/failed ground somewhere.

You have to look, which I presume you're doing now.
