Probably. Do you have warranty? If not buy the sensor and do it yourself. $80.00 from any dealership. There is a DIY in the DIY forum. It's very easy. Stalling could also be Vanos prolems or the need for upgarded DME software from the dealership. The vanos issues are pricey the DME software programming is'nt too bad. :thumbup:
Hey, I had the same problem on my 325i step. My car would stall out when I gave it gas. I also had a SES light come on. I took it to the dealer and they said the cam sensor was bad and fixed it under warranty. Car felt brand new when I got it back!
