I never noticed this before, until a couple weeks ago, then again today.

When turning off the engine, there is a buzzing noise coming from the center of engine bay, just behind and to left of the oil dipstick.

When the buzzing stops, a sound occurs (from under the car?), almost like pressure releasing somewhere.

This does not happen all the time, so makes it hard to figure out.

I tried searching forum, but did not find anyone describing anything exactly like this.

What is this sound? :hmm:

If it's an electrical buzz followed by a click that shuts it off, it's normal.

I noticed how when parked it stays in an open state even though I like having the vents closed all the time because of the pollution in this city. If you ever drive with the vents open, all you smell is the other cars' exhaust. :thumbdwn: Hell, even with them closed sometimes you smell it. :tsk:
