Hey guys,

I owned a 03 325ci a few years back and then moved to an e60. I sold that now and was thinking about getting a e46 vert.

I found two locally.

1) http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-veh...m-package-trim-Convertible-W0QQAdIdZ233764671

2001 330ci
3.0 +
M package +
242 000 kms! -
Original clutch -
rims +
sports seats +

2)http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-veh...eries-CI-Sport-Convertible-W0QQAdIdZ225448751

2002 325ci
2.5 +?
115 000 +
Looks clean +

both have +'s and -'s. If i were to buy Either i would for sure want the M rear bumper so the first one is good in that sense. But the KMS and Original Clutch are what have me hesitant. What would YOU CHOOSE? How reliable are the 3.0's with that much mileage? Worth it? Not worth it? Opinions please!

I am not to picky on the power i had a 325ci so the 3.0 or 2.5 wouldnt matter much. But as far as purchasing which would you recommend? (The owners of both are willing to nego.)

thanks:hmm:

I have a 2001 330Cic and it is rock solid. Great car and very reliable (thats been my experience).

However, in your scenario, if I am doing the conversion correctly, one of these vehicles has 150,000 miles and the other has about 75,000 miles. I would definitely go for the one with the lower miles.

yessir the conversion is pretty close to what you have figured.

Out of curiousity has anyone replaced the 3.0 engine? Costs? Non stealership ofcourse. How much is the engine (used) alone?
