My car started making a clunking noise over small bumps at low speeds. I noticed this earlier today but I just went out and looked at my car and there is something that looks like motor oil all over my front driverside shock and all over the wheel too. Could this mean that my shock busted or is there some other problem I should look for?

yep... sounds like your shock is busted. Oil leaking out of the shock is a good sign that's it's broken.
