Hello,
I've seen a few threads on this, but none that answer the question (at least none that I could find).

The problem is that I get a a bulb out warning message for the rear brake lights.

I installed LEDs in the Side Markers and trunk license plate lights (bought from JleviSW last week). They appears to be working fine, and in fact if I drive the car for a while, or if I stop and turn the car off and re-start the problem goes away. I noticed that in one post in response to a similar problem the message from JleviSW says "The side markers and LPLs do not require resistors so you are fine there." Which of course then makes me wonder why I’m getting this warning. Any ideas?
I have a 2001 330ci Convertible.

I'll try that tonight when I get home...

...and report back. Thanks for the help.
BTW: I've started the car maybe five times since I put them in, both times the lights have come on in the morning after sitting all night(Monday and today). I just went to lunch, and like yesterday when I went home I did not get the warning.
