Looking for some “budget coilovers” for my track build 1k-1.5k considering st xta. What are you guys running? And how do you like them? Would you buy them agin?

Yeah it depends on how much you're tracking and how much experience you have. If you're just getting started then it's fine to try it out with stock suspension or even run dampers such as Koni Yellows if you're only going to the track occasionally, but there's certainly an advantage with being able to tune your car by swapping springs out.

Perhaps keep your eyes peeled for a set of used KWs, Ground Controls, or TCKlines. I picked up a set of GCs for a great price last summer

It's a dedicated track car it will only see the track and the trailer. For me coilovers are a must as you mention its all about adjustability. As far as experience I've got 5 track days under my belt off and on and before that few years of autocross so still a beginner-ish but not new to it, all my pervious cars have been weekend warriors/track projects this will be my first dedicated track car.

i think u have installed this year a not so expensive coil-over and your last comment about it was positive IIRC. u are not suggesting that brand?
i have installed BC BR and satisfied after numerous adjustments. installed with primary purpose of raising up the front bumper a bit since getting too much underside scratches (mainly front fender liner. replaced 3x this year) getting up my driveway approach. Note to OP: i don't track.

+1 on the Fortune Auto 500 coilovers. I did a long post about my experience with them in the suspension section:

I have 10-12 track days on them now and I daily drive the car when the weather is nice. I am still very pleased with my choice.

I think I'll end up going fortune, kinda lame they don't include swaybar links. I don't really like the "helper springs" on the STs I feel like they are just a gimmick I had some meisterR ClubRace coilovers with them and they were always collapsed just from the weight of my miata cant see how they really helped with anything but taking up space that could have been used on longer main spring.
