I have an odd issue.

Essentially, my brake lights won't shut off while the car is on.

Also, the picture of the car on the dash, has two red indicators where the lights are - which I thought indicated burnt out bulbs... though the bulbs visibly are not burnt out.

Any idea why my brake lights won't shut off?

I'm completely out of ideas.

The light bulb indicator could be because your turn lamps are out as well or if you have any aftermarket headlights or turn lamps it could be your resistors went bad. Now on to the brake light, Do you have a red or yellow brake light? Either way it could be due to the sensors of the pads gone bad, do you have the word BRAKE light up or is it just that oval orange pad light?
