about a week ago i did the E46 taillight fix by making a new and heavier GA wire and connected it straight from the taillight to the ground screw bypassing the original only on the passenger side. no they ground connector has melted on the driver side taillight throwing a light and causing none of my driver side rear lights to work. is this at all related to the new ground wire i created on the opposing side. and if not can i just make a new one on the driver side and simply solve the problem without having to get a new pin connector.

Shoots - I just did the faulty sensor fix yesterday by bypassing the brown wires. I'll be curious to see what the experts say.
