I just replaced the rotor + R4S pads.
But I need to step on the brake pedal deeper to have the same amount of braking power as before. It makes me feel that my brake responds slower
What is the main reason for it? can the shop fix this?

fluids maybe? I'm sure the shop will have some answers.:dunno:

I'd guess fluids also. Maybe not enough or the system needs to be bled. Check the brake fluid cap and make sure its tight :thumbup:

Maybe your pads have a different operating temperature, and need to be hot to ensure good operation?

You need to bed the pads so they conform to the rotor surface a little better. Go out and do some progressively harder stops and you will find the peadl feels better immediately.

For example:
3 light 30-0 stops then let brakes cool for a couple minutes
3 medium stops from 40-0 then let the brakes cool
3 HARD stops from 60-0 then go home and let them cool for an hour.
